JB Interior ReDecorating is owned and managed by Janet Burquest since 2001. She now serves Jamestown, TN and surrounding areas . After being a graphic designer and a Project Manager for a financial institution for several years, Janet decided to follow her passion and is now a certified Interior Refiners Network member. Janet has been trained in New York by the premier Interior Designer, Lauri Ward. Lauri is also the author of the best selling design book on one-day decorating "Use What You Have Decorating".
Besides consulting in homes Janet has also worked with a number of small businesses. Janet was selected to decorate her own home for the holiday season for an "annual Christmas showcase home display tour" also know as "Christmas Parade of Homes". She keeps current with design trends and innovations through study, research and participating in conferences. Her extensive international travels have broadened her eye and passion for interior decorating. She also has a keen eye for antiques and has dabbled in antique dealing for a number of years. Janet is a mother of four beautiful girls and grandmother of seven wonderful grand kids. The family has had some unique pets including a monkey! She is an avid horsewoman who trail rides as much as she can. |
